With Jimmy.
Now before every other James and Jim get all heebed out... this Jimmy is 2 years old and in my class.
Some might know him as crazy, others might know him as loud... but I know him as the Jimmy who loves to eat cookies and loves Mike Wizowski (from Monsters Inc.)
Here is a little interaction I had with him today:
"Miss Aaamy, You yove me"
"What Jimmy?"
"You yoooove mee"
"Jimmy, how did you know that I love you?"
"Because... I yove you"
As I thought about this again after work and I was struck with such a realization that Jesus was trying to send me a little message through Jimmy. No matter how much I try to love Jesus with all my heart, I miserably fail. Failure after failure, sometimes I seem hopeless. These days as these thoughts had been going through my head, I heard Jesus speaking to me tonight. Even though you fail... I know you love me. Lord, how do you know that I love you? Because I love you. |
